Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until creamy and well-blended.
  • Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a third bowl.

Breading

  • Take a portion of the chicken mixture and shape it into a stick. Dip it into flour, then beaten egg, and finally coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs. Repeat until all mixture is shaped into sticks.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Arrange mozzarella sticks in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch each other. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  • Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. You may need to air fry in batches.
  • Remove sticks from the fryer, let them cool slightly, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Serving

  • Serve with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider substituting cream cheese with Greek yogurt. You can also use whole wheat breadcrumbs.
