Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Place the salmon fillet on a large piece of foil on a baking tray.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  • Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering it completely and sealing the packet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Open the foil, switch the oven to broil, and broil for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate salmon for a few hours. Add red pepper flakes for spice, or sesame seeds for a nutty touch. Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness.
