  • 8 oz spaghetti (cooked & drained) Al dente spaghetti that holds its shape.
  • 15-20 pieces cooked meatballs (homemade or frozen & thawed) Juicy and flavorful meatballs.
  • 1 jar marinara or pasta sauce (24 oz) Rich and tangy sauce.

Cheese Topping

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella Ideal for a gooey top layer.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Adds flavor depth.

Binder and Seasoning

  • 1 piece egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning For aromatic flavor.
  • to taste Salt & pepper Essential seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, beaten egg, half a cup of shredded mozzarella, and a generous portion of marinara sauce.
  • Spread the spaghetti mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Assembly

  • Layer the cooked meatballs evenly over the spaghetti base.
  • Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  • Sprinkle remaining shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the dish.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and a pinch of pepper.

Baking

  • Bake uncovered for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is golden.
  • Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a kick of heat, add red pepper flakes to your marinara sauce. Consider garnishing with fresh basil or parsley.
