For the Kebabs

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, cut into 1" cubes Tender chicken pieces form the star of this dish.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or full-fat Greek yogurt) Creates the creamy base for the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp honey Sweetens the sauce.
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar Enhances sauce depth.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 minced garlic cloves) For an extra punch of flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp salt For seasoning the sauce.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Balances flavors in the sauce.
  • Parsley for garnishing Brightens up the presentation.
  • Mini wood skewers soaked in water for 20-30 minutes Keeps kebabs from burning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, soy sauce, Sriracha, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp each of salt and black pepper until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine cubed chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well-coated.
  • Thread 3-4 pieces of seasoned chicken onto each soaked wooden skewer, leaving space between for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400°F.
  • Arrange the kebabs on the air fryer rack and brush with 1/3 cup of the prepared Bang Bang sauce. Reserve the rest for serving.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, flipping the kebabs halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Serving

  • Remove kebabs from the air fryer or oven, garnish with parsley, and serve with reserved Bang Bang sauce as a dip.

Notes

Consider marinating chicken for a few hours or overnight for enhanced flavor. Substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for different dietary preferences. Cooking on the grill can add a smoky flavor.
