Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Cut the croissants into bite-sized pieces and arrange them in your prepared baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and blueberries until combined.
  • Spoon the cream cheese and blueberry mixture generously over the arranged croissant pieces.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the croissant and cream cheese layer.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and lightly golden on top.
  • Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, soften cream cheese sufficiently. Consider adding lemon zest or using frozen blueberries that are thawed and drained. Make ahead and refrigerate overnight for convenience.
