Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta Cook according to package instructions.

Seafood

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed shrimp.

Meat

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips Cook to your preferred doneness.

Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust according to taste.

Others

  • 3 tbsp olive oil, divided Used for cooking shrimp and steak.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a rich Alfredo sauce.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Melt into the sauce for creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.

Cooking Shrimp

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet.

Cooking Steak

  • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sliced steak.
  • Season steak with the remaining Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned.

Making the Sauce

  • Remove steak from the skillet and set aside with the shrimp. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted.

Combining

  • Return shrimp and steak to the skillet, then add the cooked fettuccine. Toss to coat.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overcooking shrimp and steak. Consider using whole grain fettuccine or lighter cream alternatives for a healthier dish. This can also accommodate vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
