For the Alfredo Sauce

  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

  • Cook the penne pasta according to the package directions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub the mixture onto the slices of steak and shrimp, ensuring each piece is generously coated.

Cooking

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and grill or sauté the seasoned steak until it reaches desired juiciness.
  • Add the shrimp to the pan, sautéing until they turn pink.
  • In a large skillet, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  • Introduce the cooked steak and shrimp into the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat.
  • Add the cooked penne pasta, tossing everything together to ensure the pasta is enveloped in the sauce.

Serving

  • Serve immediately and consider pairing with a garden salad and freshly baked garlic bread.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute the cream of mushroom soup with a homemade sauce made from pureed cooked mushrooms and low-fat cream. Vegetarians can replace shrimp and steak with roasted vegetables.
