Instructions
 

For the Cupcakes

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
  • Fold in the caramel sauce. Spoon the batter into cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
