Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream, room temperature Provides the rich and creamy base.
  • 1/3 cup honey Adds a delightful sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons garlic chili oil Imparts a warm, spicy element.
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix Adds savory depth.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill Offers a refreshing herbal note.
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adds a touch of heat.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the room temperature sour cream, honey, garlic chili oil, ranch seasoning mix, chopped fresh dill, and red pepper flakes.
  • Using a whisk or a spoon, mix all the ingredients until they are well blended and smooth. Ensure there are no lumps, and the colors are homogenous.
  • Once mixed, transfer the dip to an airtight container to preserve its freshness.
  • For the best flavor, refrigerate the dip for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld together. However, it can be enjoyed immediately if you're short on time.
  • Serve the dip cold, or you can gently warm it in the microwave if preferred.

Notes

For a richer flavor, substitute half of the sour cream with Greek yogurt. If you like a bolder kick, add an extra tablespoon of garlic chili oil or a pinch more of red pepper flakes. This dip can also be used as a salad dressing, just thin it out with a little buttermilk or additional honey. Always use fresh dill for the best results.
