Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base

  • 2 cups heavy cream rich and velvety
  • 1 cup whole milk creamy and nourishing
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar sweet and sparkling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract aromatic and warm
  • 1/2 cup cherry puree bursting with juicy flavor

Add-ins

  • 1 cup chocolate chips decadent and melty
  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved fresh and tender

Instructions
 

Prepare the Base

  • Whisk the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar together in a medium bowl until the sugar dissolves fully.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and cherry puree, blending until well combined.

Chill the Mixture

  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.

Churn the Ice Cream

  • Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (typically about 20–25 minutes).

Incorporate the Extras

  • When the ice cream is nearly finished churning, add the chocolate chips and cherry halves and continue to churn for a few more minutes.

Freeze & Serve

  • Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for 4–6 hours until firm.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute part of the heavy cream with coconut cream or yogurt. You can experiment with different fruits such as raspberries or strawberries.
