Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the head of cabbage into 3/4-inch thick steaks.
  • Use a brush or your hands to coat both sides of each steak with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over each steak.

Baking

  • Place the seasoned cabbage steaks onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top before serving.
