  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese Use a rich, melting cheese.

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and freshness.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Velvety butter enhances flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds wonderful garlic aroma.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a greased baking sheet.
  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the diced potato cubes for 10–12 minutes until fork-tender.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour the garlic butter over the potatoes and mash them until creamy.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese, parmesan, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Baking

  • Roll the mixture into small balls, roughly 1-2 inches in diameter.
  • Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced evenly.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Garnish with extra parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure potatoes are properly cooked and not overcrowded on the baking sheet for a perfect crisp.
