Preparation

  • Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Pour in 4 cups of chicken broth.
  • Add 24 oz jar of marinara sauce, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir gently to mix.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Check chicken for tenderness; shred it in the pot with two forks.

Final Touches

  • Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella until melted.
