Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your broiler. Set your oven to broil.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise. Gently pull the meat slightly upward to expose it.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Brush generously onto the exposed lobster meat.

Cooking

  • Place the lobster tails in the broiler for 8-10 minutes, until the meat turns opaque and lightly browned.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Sprinkle in the flour to create a roux, whisking for about a minute. Gradually add in the heavy cream and whisk until it thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper until the sauce is smooth.

Serving

  • Plate the lobster tails smothered in the creamy sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture. Avoid overcooking the lobster to ensure tenderness.
