  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs These crumbs create a delicious, crispy base.

For the filling and topping

  • 2 cups 2 cups cream cheese, softened Provides a creamy texture for the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor of the cream cheese.
  • 1 cup 1 cup cherry jam Adds a fruity flavor and color.
  • 0.5 cups 1/2 cup chopped pistachios Gourmet touch with earthy notes and crunch.
  • 0.5 cups 1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved For topping, adds vibrancy and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease your muffin tin or tartlet pans.
  • In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of your tartlet pans.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely.

Filling

  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the cooled crusts evenly.

Topping

  • Heat the cherry jam in a saucepan over low heat for 3-5 minutes.
  • Spoon the cherry jam over the cream cheese filling, followed by halved cherries and chopped pistachios.
  • Refrigerate the tartlets for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For a fun twist, try using other fruit jams. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. These tartlets can also be frozen, but it's best to freeze the crust separately.
