Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt a generous pat of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Introduce the shrimp to the skillet. Cook until they turn a beautiful pink, which takes about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Mixing and Baking

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream with the cooked shrimp, sprinkling in half of each type of cheese. Stir well.
  • Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese and a handful of fresh herbs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat sour cream or Greek yogurt. Pair the dish with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a balanced meal.
