Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • Prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow the cakes to cool in their pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Assembly

  • Spread a thin layer of raspberry preserves on top of one of the cake layers.
  • Place the second cake layer on top, aligning it carefully.
  • Generously cover the entire cake with whipped cream cheese frosting.
  • Garnish with white chocolate shavings on top.

Notes

Add a splash of vanilla or almond extract for extra flavor. Substitute part of the water in the cake mix with sour cream for moister cake.
