Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 16 oz Cream cheese Ideal for that creamy richness that defines this cheesecake.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar Adds the perfect amount of sweetness.
  • 3 large Eggs Essential for structure and maintaining texture.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream Increases creaminess for a luxurious mouthfeel.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Infuses delightful warmth and flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Elevates all the flavors without making the dessert salty.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Microwave the cream cheese for about 15 seconds to soften it.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add the granulated sugar and continue beating until fluffy.
  • Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
  • Stir in heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan, tapping down to release air bubbles.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top is deep brown and slightly puffed.

Cooling and Serving

  • Allow to cool in the pan for around 2 hours.
  • Slice and serve at room temperature or chill in the fridge.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature. Don’t skimp on the baking time for that characteristic burnt top. Consider adding citrus zest or a swirl of fruit puree for extra flavor.
