For the Croissant Rolls

  • 1 can refrigerated croissant dough (8 rolls)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the croissant dough on a clean surface and separate the triangles.
  • Sprinkle each triangle with shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped pepperoni, placing the filling in the center of each croissant.
  • Roll up the croissants from the wide end to the point, ensuring the filling stays tightly inside.
  • Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each roll.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  • Let the croissant rolls cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

Consider adding garlic powder or crushed red pepper flakes for heat. Substitute the mozzarella with provolone or cheddar for variety.
