Preparation

  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan until compact.

  • Allow the crust to cool completely.

  • Gradually add granulated sugar, mixing until well combined.
  • Add sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Incorporate eggs one at a time on low speed.
  • Pour the filling over the cooled crust, smoothing the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly.
  • Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for an hour.

Cooling

  • Transfer the cooled cheesecake to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours.
