  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Brings savory depth.
  • 1 tsp soy sauce Enhances flavor.

  • 1 cup beef broth Keeps the dish moist.
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese Delivers a creamy texture.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Soft to cradle the filling.

Instructions

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until golden brown, then drain excess fat.

Sautéing Vegetables

  • Add diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Combining Flavors

  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and beef broth. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 10 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly.

Adding Cheese and Serving

  • Just before serving, stir in shredded provolone cheese until melted. Serve the mixture on hamburger buns.

Notes

For best results, chop vegetables uniformly and do not rush the browning of the beef. This enhances the flavor.
