Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or turkey and brown thoroughly.
  • Drain excess fat from the meat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Assembly

  • Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into triangles.
  • On a baking sheet, arrange triangles in a circle, overlapping the wide ends.
  • Spoon the meat mixture onto the center of the dough circle and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Fold the pointed ends of the crescent rolls over the filling, tucking them underneath.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a moment, then serve with sour cream and garnish with green onions.
