  • ¾ cup marinara or pizza sauce rich and tangy
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese melty and stretchy
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese sharp and colorful
  • 30-40 pieces mini pepperoni slices savory and spicy
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning aromatic and herby
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder fragrant and flavorful
  • as needed Olive oil spray or brush for a light sheen
  • as needed Chopped parsley for garnish fresh and vibrant (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Cut your tortillas into triangle wedges and arrange them in a single layer on the lined baking sheet, ensuring not to overlap them.
  • Lightly brush or spray the chips with olive oil, then sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the top.
  • Spread a small amount of marinara sauce on each tortilla chip.
  • Top evenly with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Add 2-3 mini pepperoni slices to each chip.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the edges of the chips turn golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For extra crunch, toast the tortillas lightly before cutting and assembling. You can use flavored tortillas or try different types of cheese for additional flavor. A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before baking also enhances the flavor.
