Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly flour your surface and roll out the thawed puff pastry into a sheet.
  • Cut the pastry into 3-inch squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

Filling

  • Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  • Add a small dollop of raspberry jam on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with the beaten egg.

Baking

  • Arrange the sealed pastries on a baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  • Allow to cool briefly and garnish with fresh raspberries.

Notes

Make sure the puff pastry is thawed and pliable. Ensure the cream cheese mixture is smooth and seal the edges tightly to prevent leaks during baking.
