Preparation

  • Add the entire jar of marinara sauce to the slow cooker.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and garlic powder, then season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Gently stir the sauce mixture to combine all flavors.
  • Carefully add the cheese tortellini and stir to coat each piece in the sauce.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 4 hours.
  • In the last 15 minutes of cooking, add the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Stir gently until the cheeses melt into the sauce.
