Ingredients
  

Seafood and Sausage

  • 12-14 pieces medium shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed frozen shrimp
  • 2 pieces jalapeño cheddar sausages, sliced

Vegetables and Aromatics

  • 1 piece jalapeño, sliced Adjust based on spice tolerance
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped For garnish
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced

Broth and Seasonings

  • 3 cups chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Noodles and Additional Ingredients

  • 1 block ramen noodles Use 2 for larger portions
  • 2 pieces soft-boiled eggs, peeled and halved For garnishing
  • 2 tbsp butter For sautéing
  • 1 tbsp oil For cooking
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the shrimp with paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear the shrimp for 2 minutes on each side until they turn pink, then set them aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages and brown them until warmed through and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper; sauté until fragrant and onions are translucent.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  • Add the ramen noodles and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Return the sautéed shrimp and sausages to the pot and mix well.
  • Serve hot, garnished with soft-boiled eggs, fresh jalapeño slices, and chopped green onions. Drizzle with chili oil for extra heat if desired.

Notes

To elevate your ramen, add lime juice for brightness or extra vegetables like spinach. For crunch, top with crispy fried onions or sesame seeds. Adjust ingredient quantities to make it lighter or substitute shrimp for chicken or tofu.
