  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Cobbler Topping

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup salted butter, melted
  • Pinch cinnamon sugar

Serve With

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter.

Make the Cobbler

  • In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and lemon juice.
  • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to create a syrupy filling.
  • Pour the peach mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Sprinkle yellow cake mix over the peach filling.
  • Pour melted butter over the dry cake mix.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon sugar over the top.

Bake

  • Place the dessert in the preheated oven and bake for 60 to 75 minutes, until the peaches are bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
