Burger Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Rich, high-quality beef that is juicy and tender after cooking.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Creamy, melting cheese that adds depth and richness.
  • 4-6 pieces jalapeño peppers, sliced Bring bold heat and vibrant color.
  • 1/2 cup red onion, sliced Sweet and slightly sharp.
  • 4 pieces burger buns Soft, golden buns.
  • 4 leaves lettuce Crisp and refreshing.
  • 4 slices tomato Juicy and ripe.
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise Creamy and smooth.
  • 2 tbsp ketchup Classic condiment.
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season ground beef with salt and pepper.
  • Shape the seasoned beef into 4 patties, slightly larger than the buns.
  • Preheat grill or skillet to medium heat.

Cooking

  • Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the patties gently to avoid breaking.
  • In the last minute of cooking, lay a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty.
  • Sauté sliced jalapeños and red onions in a pan until soft.
  • Toast the burger buns in a separate pan or on the grill.

Assembly

  • Start with the bottom bun and layer it with crisp lettuce.
  • Add a cheeseburger patty, followed by sautéed jalapeños and red onions.
  • Add a slice of fresh tomato and drizzle mayonnaise and ketchup.
  • Top with the other half of the bun.

Notes

Serve with crispy sweet potato fries or a garden salad. Pair with lemonade or iced tea.
