Preparation

  • Prepare the slow cooker by setting it to low heat.
  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add the white beans on top of the chicken.
  • Pour in the low-sodium chicken broth until ingredients are submerged.
  • Season with cumin and chili powder; stir gently without disturbing the chicken.
  • Add diced green chilies to enhance the flavor.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix back into the chili.

Serving

  • Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream and garnish with chopped cilantro.
